Rajasthan Royals opted to bat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their crucial Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 encounter at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday. (RR v RCB LIVE UPDATES)
RR have made three changes to their playing XI - Ben Laughlin and Heinrich Klaasen replaced Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes while Shreyas Gopal replaced Anureet Singh. RCB are currently on a three-match winning run and they went into the game with an unchanged side. (RR v RCB LIVE SCORECARD)
The match is a must-win for both teams as the winner will take a big step towards qualifying for the IPL 2018 play-offs.
RCB’s positive net run-rate is a big advantage while the hosts will need a big victory on Saturday to boost their NRR (-0.403) and with that their chances of qualifying for the knockout stages.
When these two teams faced each other earlier in the season, Sanju Samson was the star performer for Rajasthan Royals with a 45-ball 92 as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 19 runs in Bangalore.

RR will be missing the services of their star batsman Jos Buttler and all-rounder Ben Stokes as they had to leave midway for national team duty.
Buttler, who scored 548 runs in 13 matches, was the star performer for the hosts and his five consecutive fifties played a major role in keeping his side in the play-offs race.
Ben Stokes, on the other hand, did not have a good show this year and he ended the tournament with 196 runs and 8 wickets to his name.

When it comes to their head-to-head record, both teams have won eight times but at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur, Royal Challengers Bangalore hold a 3-2 advantage over the hosts.
